JONATHAN KEHOE    [back]

As a member of Meta since 2003 Jonathan was privileged to play the role of Billy in the Company's second main stage production - Angus MacLachlan's The Dead Eye Boy. His performance was hailed by critics throughout LA including Daily Variety calling him "an astonishing actor." This experience cemented Jonathan's home in the company as well as his joy in working creatively with Anthony and the Meta philosophies. Jonathan has a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Theatre and a Bachelor of Arts with honors in English both from the University of Miami at Coral Gables. He is also a graduate of the Writer's Bootcamp Professional Writers Program in Santa Monica. He has been directing theatre in some capacity since 1992 and was named Best New Actor and Best New Director at the Miami Theatre Festival in 1993 and 1994 respectively. Jonathan has been a member of the Main Company at the ACME Comedy Theatre since 1998 and in 2001 was called a "brilliant comedic conductor" by the LA Weekly. He has studied many different styles of acting with many different types of teachers throughout the country but has truly found his kindred spirits in the souls who inhabit the Meta Theatre Company. From founder to teacher to student he is constantly inspired by the people who surround him and he is both honored and humbled to be able to share his passions with others.

SEAN RILEY     [back]

Sean has been a student and an active participant in Anthony Meindl's Actor's Lab for more than three years. He is humbled and grateful to be given the opportunity to be a part of this amazing group of artists. Always gaining much inspiration from fellow students and teachers. He has had the luck to work on several student-produced projects since coming to the Meta Theatre. Coming from a background in dance and musical theatre, with a BFA in Composite Dance from BYU, he has had the opportunity over the years to perform in numerous regional theatre productions.
