As a member of Meta since 2003 Jonathan was privileged to play the role of Billy in the Company's second main stage production - Angus MacLachlan's The Dead Eye Boy. His performance was hailed by critics throughout LA including Daily Variety calling him "an astonishing actor." This experience cemented Jonathan's home in the company as well as his joy in working creatively with Anthony and the Meta philosophies. Jonathan has a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Theatre and a Bachelor of Arts with honors in English both from the University of Miami at Coral Gables. He is also a graduate of the Writer's Bootcamp Professional Writers Program in Santa Monica. Jonathan has been a member of the Main Company at the ACME Comedy Theatre since 1998 and in 2001 was called a "brilliant comedic conductor" by the LA Weekly. He has studied many different styles of acting with many different types of teachers throughout the country but has truly found his kindred spirits in the souls who inhabit the Meta Theatre Company. From founder to teacher to student he is constantly inspired by the people who surround him and he is both honored and humbled to be able to share his passions with others.
Lindsay has been a member of Anthony Meindl's Actors Lab for two years. She assisted with Meta Theater's premiere production of DOGS BARKING as a dialect coach and is honored and pretty darn excited to be a part of Meta's West Coast premiere of THE DEAD EYE BOY. Lindsay was last seen on stage at the Knightsbridge Theater in Pasadena as George Hyde-Lees in SAILING TO BYZANTIUM and has performed at the La Jolla Playhouse, The Arkansas Rep and with American Drama Group Europe. Her recent TV debut was as Annabeth on Days of Our Lives. She received her MFA in Acting from UC San Diego.
Sean has been a student and an active participant in Anthony Meindl's Actor's Lab for more than three years. He is humbled and grateful to be given the opportunity to be a part of this amazing group of artists. Always gaining much inspiration from fellow students and teachers. He has had the luck to work on several student-produced projects since coming to the Meta Theatre. Coming from a background in dance and musical theatre, with a BFA in Composite Dance from BYU, he has had the opportunity over the years to perform in numerous regional theatre productions. As a dancer he had the chance to tour extensively throughout the world. Sean looks forward to many more years of growth and opportunity that come along with the community that is found at the Actor's Lab. |
