DESCRIPTION:Online Self Tape Lab Class: Slay your self-tapes Tuesdays   November 3\, 10\, 17 & 24 9 AM PST   RSVP: natasha@anthonymeindl.com  Four weeks. Four tapes. Real audition practice.  You got the audition. You have the sides. Now what do you do with them?  SELF-TAPE LAB is a four-week\, hands-on online intensive designed to help actors get better at the entire self-tape process\, from receiving the sides to actually hitting SEND.  Every week\, actors receive a new scene to prepare and self-tape before class. Then we bring it into the Lab. We watch the tape\, work the scene live\, make adjustments\, give a redirect and tape it again\, just like a callback.  We’ll work on:  • Breaking down audition sides quickly • Making strong\, specific choices • Getting out of your head and into the circumstances • Learning lines quickly while staying spontaneous • Eyeline\, framing\, reader and physical life • Taking a redirect • Watching playback and knowing which take to send • Self-tape setup\, lighting\, sound and basic editing • Getting from “I just got the audition” to “Sent.”  New to self-taping? No problem. The first class will cover the essentials too\, including what a self-tape is\, how to set yourself up\, framing\, lighting\, sound\, eyeline\, working with a reader and basic editing.  The process:  Before class: Receive sides\, prepare and submit your self-tape.  In class: Watch your tape together\, work the scene live\, make adjustments\, get a redirect and tape again. The AMAW Foundations course is an opportunity to integrate the underlying philosophies\, tools and techniques of the Anthony Meindl Actor Workshop while building community\, working a scene 3 times and then swapping scene partners and approaching fresh material. Great for actors with experience or those brand new\, you’ll be partnered for class and have time to integrate the learnings from your own work as well as observing your peers. With small homework tasks in between classes and recordings from each class\, this is a wonderful environment to explore your craft and level up your acting.
