A Four-Week Intensive for Creating Essential\, Modern Acting Footage while deepening your On-Camera knowledge and presence  Today’s working actor needs strong\, focused\, up-to-date clips that clearly show casting who they are and what they book. The On-Camera Actor’s Lab is a fun\, relevant\, and practical four-week training experience designed to help actors create clean\, professional footage for casting sites and management—while developing the technical skill to deliver compelling work on camera.  This class balances practical training\, industry strategy\, and tons of on-camera work. Each week focuses on creating new materials\, fast script analysis\, clear emotional connection\, and the techniques needed to work with confidence in front of the camera.  WHAT YOU’LL LEARN   How to break down a script quickly\, creating grounded\, authentic work On-camera technique: eyelines\, framing\, continuity\, and working with direction Commercial\, dramatic\, and comedic approaches How to market yourself with simple\, focused clips How to adjust for different genres and tones How to show your personality\, presence\, and bookable energy Showcasing languages\, accents\, and special skills Best practices for creating short\, watchable footage that actually gets seen  FOUR-WEEK BREAKDOWN  WEEK 1 — Commercial Presence\, Cold Reads\, Languages & Accents  A professional introduction to your personal on-camera experience.  Students create clips that highlight:   Commercial-style reads Cold reading and rapid script pickup Accents and additional languages Authentic personality and bookable strengths Core script breakdown techniques Fast Memorization Work  Deliverable: Capture clean\, confident\, casting-friendly clips that showcase presence\, communication\, and versatility.  WEEK 2 — Dramatic One-Minute Clip  Students select a dramatic scene from the class library and work it on camera with coaching focused on:   Emotional truth and grounding Internal life and connection Specific\, clean storytelling Coaching & adjustments to deepen your experience  Deliverable: Create a strong dramatic clip suitable for Actors Access and Casting Networks.  WEEK 3 — Comedy One-Minute Clip  Students choose a comedic scene (single-cam or multi-cam style).  Training includes:   Comedic rhythm and timing Behavior-based comedy Finding the humor without pushing Sharpening reactions and beats  Deliverable: Produce a tight\, engaging comedic clip that showcases personality and timing.  WEEK 4 — On-Set Experience / Short-Film Moment  A practical\, real-world filming environment simulating a small set:   Blocking\, marks\, continuity Taking direction quickly Working within a story moment Capturing cinematic footage  Deliverable: Film a polished\, narrative moment that shows on-set readiness and screen presence.  WHAT NEW MATERIALS YOU’LL WALK AWAY WITH   A commercial/personality clip A dramatic one-minute clip A comedic one-minute clip A short-film or on-set style moment A clear understanding of how to continue building marketable footage
