Self-taping: how to direct yourself, stay present, and stay kind with Jordan Loughran AMAW London

These Self-Tape classes are an opportunity to bring together the practice that we do in the studio with the work that is required of us in the industry. Focused on the practical application of the class-based work we do in a professional setting where there will be certain unavoidable parameters: How to bring elements of the class vibe when doing self-tapes (and onto set/ into the rehearsal room when we do book the job!) Classes will also highlight in-class adjustments that can work in these contexts and provide an opportunity to practise self-adjustment. We will also practise how to look at our tapes from as kind and objective perspective as possible – an important part of the process too.
Class preparation involves bringing one scene of your own self-tape.
This class is open to studio members and those working in the industry.
