We will be exploring it all! \nThe AMAW Foundations course is an opportunity to integrate the underlying philosophies\, tools and techniques of the Anthony Meindl Actor Workshop while building community. \nGreat for actors with experience or those brand new\, you’ll be partnered for class and have time to integrate the learnings from your own work as well as from observing your peers. With small homework tasks in between classes\, this is a wonderful environment to explore your craft and level up your acting. \n\nThis is our foundations course that EVERYONE has to take world-wide before jumping into our on-going scene study classes.

Circumstances. Character. Strong Choices. \nThis course introduces actors to the fundamentals of the AMAW philosophy and our way of working. A major shift takes place during this period that is faster and more tangible than any other acting program. Designed to quickly move you from an actor who “acts” to one who lives truthfully and embodies feeling. \nYou will be partnered up\, working face-to-face with another actor each class. Each class includes a lesson\, warmup\, scene work\, and homework. \nThis is the AMAW signature Foundations course that EVERYONE takes worldwide before joining our ongoing Scene Study classes. \nFAQs\nDo I take Foundations if I already have acting experience?\nYes. Everyone begins here at AMAW. \nDo I need acting experience?\nNot at all.
