Kristi Slager is the founder of Dance for Artists (DfA) in Los Angeles. Over the years she had worked with all kinds of artists: actors, directors, writers, singers, dancers, you name it; helping them get in touch with their physical impulses and remove the blocks obstructing their full artistic expression. Kristi has a knack for working with “non-movers,” or rather people with limited dance/movement experience, and is passionate about putting them in touch with their unique physicality and imagination. She helps artists find their own voice, while discovering the joy of expressing through movement. Kristi has worked with talented actors from such shows as Friday Night Lights, Graceland, The Originals, The Secret Life of The American Teenager, and Hawthorne among others. She has choreographed for Flashmob America, various celebrity weddings and for music videos starring emerging young artists.
