The AMAW Foundations course is an opportunity to integrate the underlying philosophies, tools and techniques of the Anthony Meindl Actor Workshop while building community, working a scene 3 times and then swapping scene partners and approaching fresh material. Great for actors with experience or those brand new, you’ll be partnered for class and have time to integrate the learnings from your own work as well as observing your peers. With small homework tasks in between classes, this is a wonderful environment to explore your craft and level up your acting.

This is our foundations course that EVERYONE has to take world-wide before jumping into our on-going scene study classes.

FAQs:

• Do I take Foundations if I already have acting experience and training?

Yes, this class is the first class ALL actors take at our studio. If you are a human, you take this class first! Emmy nominated actors, Series Regulars and actors with millions of followers all start with Foundations.

• Do I need acting experience to join foundations?

No, this class is for everybody. All you need is to show up ready to learn, get out of your comfort zone, have fun and say F it!

• How do online classes work?

They work the same way as in person classes, except online. You will work face to face with an actor on a scene in each class. Great practice for your Zoom auditions and self tapes.

• What happens after Foundations?

After Foundations you can join our on-going monthly classes with any AMAW studio in the world.
