About the Workshop
This immersive Teen Scene Study Workshop at Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop Cape Town is designed for young actors who want to deepen their craft and build confidence for film and television work.
Actors will be paired and work on contemporary scenes in a focused, supportive environment. Through guided exercises and personalized coaching, students will explore the core principles of the AMAW technique: listening, being present, and working truthfully in the moment.
The class includes a warm-up, scene work, and individual feedback, giving each actor the opportunity to grow in a practical, hands-on way.
What You’ll Work On
- Building authentic, grounded performances
- Strengthening connection with scene partners

- Letting go of “performing” and trusting your instincts
- Developing the tools needed to book the job

This workshop is open to teens who are new to acting and curious to explore, as well as those already represented and wanting to book more.
