Your Dream Role with Georgina Symes
January 17th- February 7th | 9am-1pm
This 4 WEEK COURSE is designed to inspire, elevate and empower actors to excavate their potential, step into their DREAM ROLE and discover the power of who they really are. Actors will choose their Contemporary Theatre DREAM ROLE working with a scene partner each week, with pre course creative preparation assigned.
The creative process will be adventurous, rigorous and collaborative, culminating in a showcase performance.
Pre Week 1
The journey begins as actors choose their dream role/s from contemporary play/s. Actors will then be paired up & cast in a 2 hander scene. Prior to the first week of in person classes, there will be creative course prep work to undertake.
Weeks 1 – 3
The actors will be taken through a creative and dynamic rehearsal period.
Week 4
This culminates in a Tech/Dress run, including an invite to our AMAW community to watch these actors showcase the work they’ve created.
$500: *Split payments available, 4 x $125 fortnightly payments
*Deposit due 2 weeks prior to course commencement.
