No prerequisites. AMAW foundations not required for this class. Just show up, do the work, and have fun.
What to Expect Each Week:
Week 1: Presence & Cold Reads
Break the ice and build camera confidence with slating, cold reads, and short-form scene work. Start
strong, stay grounded with scenes and audition games.
Week 2: Character & Genre
Explore tone, style, and range as you shift between genres and deepen your connection to character—
on and off script. Get feedback, and fine-tune your work as your true, authentic, camera-ready self.
Week 3: Camera Work
Learn to work with the camera. Bring your creativity to the mix and enhance your on-camera skill set and
presence. Are you ready for your closeup? YES.
Week 4: Reel Shoot Day
Lights. Camera. Your Scene.
We roll on your original, one-of-a-kind filmed scene—shot with coverage and care. You’ll leave with new
footage for your reel and a stronger sense of who you are on camera.
