Joanne Kelly is from Newfoundland, Canada, and holds a BA with a double major in Theatre and English from Acadia University. She has worked as a writer with Amazon Studios, and as an actor in film, TV, and theatre across North America and around the world. She’s studied acting in Canada with John Boylan and David Rotenberg, and in the US with Larry Moss, Patsy Rotenberg, Karl Bury, IO West (Improv), Ivana Chubbuck, the Carter Thor Studio, Susan Batson, Warner Loughlin and Anateus Theatre Co- finally finding a home with AMAW and Tony in LA and now, New York. She is eternally grateful to the studio and is thrilled to be teaching a technique and philosophy that has made a huge difference not only in her work, but in her life.
